Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: We are open 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, and closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Q: Where are you located?

A: Our offices and showroom are located at Unit 102 - 3294 Tennyson Avenue, Victoria, BC. Having a warehouse type operation allows us to maintain a low overhead and pass the savings along to our customers. We also directly sell to and service the Greater Victoria area with our unsurpassed onsite service.

A: Buying a Silicon Solutions computer is a wise choice for a number of different reasons. To begin with, you get a computer custom built around your particular needs and not a generic box off the shelf. Each computer is built using quality parts and rigorously tested to ensure a trouble-free computer experience. As a result, our computers have the lowest rate of DOA (dead on arrival) defects in the entire computer industry! We then offer to deliver your new computer directly to you at no extra charge. Each computer built by Silicon Solutions also comes with a one-year parts and lifetime labour warranty that is on-site, so getting fast and convenient service is just a phone call away. We also offer extended warranties and service contracts for a complete service experience. As an added bonus, we offer our Silicon Solutions Freeware CD to you at no extra charge. You get all this for a better price than most other stores charge for a generic computer that you have to pick up! We also have one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings, with word of mouth referrals and repeat customers accounting for over 80% of our total sales volume!

A: Yes, we service all makes and models of computers.

Q: Why are your prices lower than so many other places in Victoria?

A: We have chosen to give our customers the best quality products and service at the most reasonable prices possible. The expenses associated with high profile advertising and expensive retail stores are inevitably passed on to customers in the form of higher prices. By keeping our costs to a minimum and focusing on a direct sales model, we give our customers more value for every dollar spent than any other computer store in Victoria.

Q: Does delivery of computers and computer parts cost me any extra money?

A: It usually doesn't. We offer free delivery on any purchase over $250, which covers the vast majority of computer part purchases made. There may be a $15 charge on orders less than $250, depending on the location being delivered to.

Q: Where do you deliver?

A: We service all of Greater Victoria, including Oak Bay, Saanich, Sidney, Esquimalt, and the western communities.

Q: How much do computer upgrades cost? Do you do them on-site?

A: Basically, the cost of the part being upgraded plus an installation fee is what it will cost. The installation fee will often be cheaper than the price that most companies charge you to bring your system in for upgrading. Many simple upgrades can be accomplished during a short visit to your home or business. If the upgrade is more complicated, we will pick up your computer, do the required upgrade in shop, and deliver the computer back to you at no extra charge.
